{destination wedding} seattle wedding photographer

Tomorrow I’m headed to Massachusetts to shoot a wedding in Salem. Although it’s intent wasn’t to be “destination” because I am now in Seattle, it’s a destination for me and the experience is probably pretty similar. It’s kinda cool. I’m coming back for another one in November that’s in Cape Cod which I think is very destination-y. I guess you could say that shooting 4 hours away from Boston in Maine is pretty much a destination wedding too but there’s something about getting on a plane that makes it feel official. We’ll see after this if I want to make a habit of it but there’s always been a very appealing component of being a destination wedding photographer since it’s pretty much combining two major loves: photography and travel (and I should mention it would be a home run if my husband was coming along). I should probably focus on being a Seattle wedding photographer first though. That’s it.
